Campaigns against non-green forms of energy, such as: Fossil fuels which contribute to global warming; and nuclear power whose high-level wastes remain dangerous for millions of years. Also, promotion of alternative green energy, such as solar, wind and wave. This is only for activism, though; as always, information and arguments should go under Society: Issues: Environment.

1. Clean Energy Program of the Union of Concerned Scientists - Analyze and advocate energy solutions that are sustainable both environmentally and economically
2. Earth Day Energy Fast - Urges people to make Earth Day more than a free concert in the park by reducing or eliminating man-made energy use. Provides news, activities and resources.
3. Energy Advocates - Aims to make America energy independent. Active through speeches, newsletters, and petitions.
4. Enron and Friends: How a Phony Electricity Shortage Exposed Corruption in the White House - A continuing watch of the Enron scandal and other cases of government corruption related to the energy industry.
5. LNG Watch - Relevant facts and resources for onshore Liquefied Natural Gas facilities in Humboldt Bay, California.
6. Oil Change - Campaign to reduce US dependence on oil.
7. Power to the People - Working toward a sustainable and equitable solution to the California Energy Crisis.
8. Project Laundry List - Organization focusing on sustainable forms of energy through art, advocacy, action and education. In particular, advocates for the right to dry clothes outdoors on clotheslines, which is banned in many US communities.
9. Refinery Reform - Texas based nonprofit aims to clean up pollution from US oil refineries.
10. Sierra Club: Bush's Flawed Energy Plan - Information and activism suggestions from this well respected environmental group.
11. Sustainable Energy and Economy Network (SEEN) - Aims to inform citizens to respond to climate change, and the growing energy needs of people in developing countries.
12. The Renewable Northwest Project - Describes solar, wind and geothermal energy sources and makes a convincing case for switching to a green energy provider.
13. Wolf at the Door - Information on the issue of peak oil production and the crisis facing the world including Hubbert Curve, Olduvai Theory, jargon, oil products, alternate energy, and with charts and interactive oil map.
