Anasazi-Hisatsinom

These ancestors of the Pueblo and Hopi peoples lived in the Four Corners area of the Southwestern United states, between 100 and 1300 AD. They are best remembered for their cliff apartment communities, black and white pottery, and rock wall glyphs. Anasazi is Diné for "Ancient Ones" and Hisatsinom is a similar Hopi label.
