Strictly defined, Classical Greek is the principal language which was spoken in Greece and her colonies during the fifth and fourth centuries BC. This category, however, covers the Greek from a few centuries either side to include both Homer and the bible.

6. Perseus Project - Extensive website for classical Greek: texts, dictionaries, online grammar. Greek words are hyperlinked for instant lookup (meaning and morphology). Possible download problems.
7. Prehistoric Use of the Greek Alphabet - Controversial one page article by Pan.Kouvalakis from Davlos magazine dates the origin of the Greek alphabet to 6000BC.
8. The Sound of Ancient Greek - Short readings of Homer's Iliad, Aeschylus' Agamemnon, and Plato's Symposium.
9. Thesaurus Linguae Graecae - Selling CD-ROMs containing digitised versions of all extant Greek texts from Homer to 600 AD
