1. Ancient Remains at Ylig Site Destroyed by Stalled Project - More than a year after backhoes leveled thousands of cubic feet of ancient burial sites near the Ylig bridge, most of the human bones and artifacts that were there have been washed away or are missing.
2. Human Remains Found in Dig Have no Long Bones - From the Saipan Tribune, ancient bones discovered during a sewer line excavation on Beach Road were almost intact-except for those of the lower appendages, which were missing, leading an archeologist working at the site to express belief that the bones were used to make spearheads.
