4. Fort Ross State Historic Park - A Russian-American Company settlement from 1812 to 1841 chartered by Russia's tsarist government with general and visitor information, video, activities and event calendar located at Jenner.
5. Fresno Flats Historical Park - Nineteenth century life in the Sierra Nevada foothills and mountains of Central California built around two restored and furnished homes dating to the 1870s, including general information, a virtual tour, and events located near Oakhurst.
6. Heritage Square - Historically and architecturally significant buildings which cannot be preserved at their original location are relocated to a village-like setting, restored, displayed, and interpreted to the public with visitor information located at Los Angeles.
7. Kern County Museum - Over 50 historic structures and exhibits depicting the history of the area, comprising of general information, exhibits, calendar of events, programs and store located near Bakersfield.
8. Marshall Gold Discovery State Historic Park - The location where James W. Marshall discovered gold in 1848 on the South Fork of the American River in the valley the Nisenan Indians knew as Cullumah, comprises of a video, calendar of events, and general and visitor information located at Coloma.
9. Old Sierra Historical Ranch - This living history establishment in Wheatland offers a wide variety of school or group field trips, which transport kids of all ages, back to the pioneer days.
10. Old Town San Diego - Provides information about the park and surrounding community, including history, events, and business directory.
