A science fiction 3D world using the NetImmerse rendering engine. Project Entropia takes place in a far distant future, at the dawn of a new human era on the planet Calypso. Under development by Swedish based MindArk AB. The game is distributed for free over the Internet and through magazines and does not require any subscription fee to play it. What makes it different from other MMORPGs on market is a real economical system that allows user to exchange real life money into PED (Project Entropia Dollars) and then back into a real currency again. The exchange ratio will be 1 US Dollar = 10 PED. The game was released on 30th of January, 2003.
