Crime

  ( 7 )
There are no crimes specifically targeting roleplayers; the crime issue faced by gamers is the public perception that roleplaying encourages criminal behavior in gamers. This perception generally expresses itself in one of two ways: media reports that criminal suspects were influenced by roleplaying, or by law enforcement authorities mistaking legal game activity for actual crimes.

3. Seattle Times: Friends describe Baranyi's fantasy world - Interview with a murder suspect's friends; fantasy roleplaying mentioned as one of his hobbies.
4. Seattle Times: Trial in Bellevue's worst-ever slaying case moves closer - Eve-of-the-trial profile of two murder suspects and the case against them; fantasy roleplaying mentioned as the suspects hobby.
