Netbooks (also known as net.books) are unofficial rules supplements created by gamers and distributed primarily as text files. Prior to the growth of the WWW, netbooks were (along with newsgroups) the online gaming community's preferred method of sharing Dungeons and Dragons material. 1. Citadel Raven - Includes new information on races, items, skills equipment, magic, races, classes and non player characters. 8. Defrag's Realms - Concentrates slightly on Forgotten Realms and covers topics including ninjas, new kits, classes, races and undead. 9. DND Epicenter - Contains downloadable material including introductions to the game, monster indexes and campaign information. 10. Great Net.Book Archive - Home of The Great Net Spellbook and Prayerbook as well as original classes, kits, races, monsters and rules. 11. Kulgar's Arena and Monstrous Manual - Resource for players of combat orientated classes. 12. Leyenda's AD&D Homepage - Includes new heroes, adventure ideas, Dungeon Master tricks and treasures. 13. Netbook of Feats - Contains feats for use in publication and games. 14. Ray's Realm - A collection of quick start information for Dungeon Masters and players, including introductions, ready made shops and equipment lists. 15. The Sarcophagus of Knowledge - A site which features material mostly for Dungeon Masters. Includes adventures, classes, monsters and material on adding technology to the game. 16. Vayn's Quasi-Elemental Plane of AD&D - Home of the Netbook of Darklords and Realms. 17. FanCC Miscellaneous Netbooks - Various independent netbook projects including the Netbook of Chocolate, the Book of Beasts, Diadamon Pantheon, and 100 Unusual Demi-Planes. 18. Saman's HomePage - A site dedicated to Druids. Includes kits and statistics for several variations of Druid.
