AXE NEW! - The University of Antwerp Advanced Database Research and Modeling (ADREM) group initiated a project to edit, validate, transform and query XML documents that they call AXE, the Advanced XML Editor. They implemented these functionalities as plug-ins to jEdit. Like jEdit, the AXE plug-ins are open source and provide a platform for educative and research purposes.
9. gnome-mlview - MlView is an attempt to develop a tree oriented xml editor for gnome. It purpose is to become a full fledged xml editor though compact and fast. It is written in C and uses the gnome libraries (libxml, gtk, libgnome)
