David Cryer was born in Evanston, Illinois on March 8, 1936. A consummate performer, he is a veteran of 13 Broadway shows, including more than 1,000 performances of Peron in Evita. He is perhaps most recognized for his role as Monsieur Firmin in Broadway's 'The Phantom of the Opera'. David Cryer is the father of the well-known actor, Jon Cryer.
