1. Thunder Bay Island Lighthouse Support Group - Information on the preservation and restoration of light station that was lit in 1832 and is located at the southeast end of the island, off the entrance to Thunder Bay (Lake Huron).
2. Beacons Shining in the Night: the Lighthouses of Michigan - An exhibit by the Clarke Historical Library presents the history of lighthouses, a chronology, the keeper's life, and sources.

7. DeTour Reef Light Preservation Society - This 1931 lighthouse is located at DeTour Passage at the northwestern head of Lake Huron. Site contains photographs, the history of the light plus information on preservation efforts.

9. Granite Island Light Station - Lake Superior - Photos, videos and history of the lighthouse plus information on its restoration.
10. Great Lakes Lighthouse Keepers Association - A non-profit organization who accumulate's and exchange's information about lighthouses and their keepers so that they may be interpreted and their preserved. Information on conferences, cruises, and membership.
11. Huron Island Lighthouse Preservation Association - This 1868 Lighthouse stands atop Huron Island in southern Lake Superior. Site contains history, background, and preservation efforts of the lighthouse and Association.
12. Huron Lightship No. 103 - Port Huron. This is one of a small number of preserved American lightships. A National Historic Landmark, this site contains description, photographs, and a virtual tour.
13. Inventory of Historic Light Stations--Michigan Lighthouses - From the National Park Service. An in depth inventory, with pictures, complete description of the light stations, accessibility, and links.
14. Lighthouse County Park - Port Hope. A Huron County park that includes Pte. Aux Barques Lighthouse.
